






Michelob Ultra at Wells Fargo Arena
This arena’s old Budweiser space needed a facelift and a rebrand. One of the things I love about Michelob Ultra’s branding is that it lends itself so easily to eye-catching design without feeling too in-your-face.
In this space I saw an opportunity to use the pillars as a way to bring to life the design of their iconic cans as a larger-than life model. At the same time, I wanted to inject their colors and branding into the space without it feeling overwhelming and in-your-face.
It would have been easy to just slap their wordmark onto everything, but instead I wanted the colors to speak for themselves and use their logo in more subtle ways; as the pattern on the windows, as an accent on the tables, as the high light to their tagline. In this way I brought the branding into the space without it feeling like a slap in the face.
